Where the heather meets the forest

My second sunrise shoot since the summer and this time the weather predictions for misty conditions were proven to be true. When I arrived at this West Sussex heathland, I was very happy to find the heather in bloom, shrouded in mist. I was particularly drawn that day away from the open heathland spaces towards where the heather meets the forest.
